AirNetix, LLC is an Atlanta, Georgia based limited liability company focused on the design and development of digital wireless audio products for the professional audio market. Our designs are cutting edge using the most innovative and sophisticated techniques to achieve pristine-quality, ultra-reliable wireless pro-audio.

The company was founded by Mike Hooper, a long-time serial entrepreneur who has over forty years experience in the fields of satellite communcations, optical communications, corporate data networking, wireless semiconductor development, WiMAX, WiFi, Power Amplifiers and Front End Modules (FEMs) for mobile devices. Mike has held positions such as hardware design engineer, software developer, product manager, marketing manager, sales manager, and CEO of various large and small technology companies. Most recently, Mike was CEO of VT Silicon, an Atlanta based semiconductor startup company that was developing innovative SiGe power amplifier and front end solutions for the WiMAX market. VT Silicon was sold to Microsemi, Corp. in September of 2010. Prior to that, Mike was CEO of RF Solutions, another Atlanta based semiconductor startup that developed the world's most efficient 2.4GHZ and 5GHz GaAs power amplifiers for the early WiFi market. RF Solutions was sold to Anadigics, Corp in 2002. Prior to RF Solutions, Mike spent time at Netro (metro wireless infrastructure), CIENA (metro and long-haul fiber optic communciations equipment), Hughes Network Systems (VSAT networks), Digital Communications (corporate digital communications infrastructure equipment), Scientific Atlanta (video and digital satellite communications earth station equipment), and E-Systems (military shipboard and satellite communicaitons equipement).
